On October 5th, a lively and successful Women’s Association Convention was held, with about 80 people, including 47 association members. As a commemorative activity, participants enthusiastically held a service practice splitting into otefuri and men’s and women’s musical instruments.
On September 1st, the September Monthly Service was held with 107 attendees, including ten first time visitors. The sermon was delivered by Rev. Keiji Sakakura, the Head of Hon’ai Atlanta Church. Following the lunch reception, the Tenrikyo Niogake Day of New York district activity and drum and fife corps practice were held.
On August 25, around 30 members of the New York District Boys and Girls Association(BGA) attended the annual Service Convention. With high spirits, the children performed Yorozuyo followed by Songs One to Four.
On August 4, the August Monthly Service was performed joyously. A total of 90 attended the service. The sermon was delivered by Kaori Tetsuka, New York Center Staff Minister. The opening talk was given by Natalie Yuge. Following the lunch reception, the Women’s Association monthly gathering and drum and fife corps practice were held.
