On September 4 from 10 am, the September Monthly Service was held spiritedly (80 attendees). The sermon was delivered by Norio Shinohara, New York Center Staff Minister. The opening talk was given by Shumpei Kataoka, Tenri Cultural Institute staff member.
On August 7 from 10 am, the August Monthly Service was held. Due to a COVID-19 outbreak within New York Center, the service was performed by select staff ministers and live-in staff members only.
On July 3 from 10 am, the July Monthly Service was held. Following state guidelines, the service was performed with an increased number in attendance (77 people in total). The sermon was delivered by Yoko Yuge, wife of the former Minister of New York Center.
On June 26, a yard sale was held at New York Center. A total of $1242.50 was raised and proceeds will be distributed among the associations.
On June 5 from 10 am, the Eighth Minister Installation Service was spiritedly held. With restrictions on attendance lifted, a total of 95 people attended. The sermon was delivered by Bishop Hiroshi Fukaya, Mission Headquarters in America. Following the sermon, new minister Rev. Yoichi Fukui shared some of his thoughts on his appointment.
