On June 4 from 10 am, the June Monthly Service was held (106 attendees). The sermon was delivered by Kazumi Oiki, Capitol Church. The opening talk was delivered by Yuko Sumida, TCI staff member. Following the service, the Women’s Association monthly gathering was held.
On June 26, a yard sale was held at New York Center. A total of $1242.50 was raised and proceeds will be distributed among the associations.
On June 5 (Sun), after the New York Center Monthly Service, the Women’s Association monthly gathering was held in hybrid format and Chairwoman Fukaya shared with us a few of her thoughts. Blessed with fair weather, we enjoyed our time outside while having tea and snacks.
On June 5 from 10 am, the Eighth Minister Installation Service was spiritedly held. With restrictions on attendance lifted, a total of 95 people attended. The sermon was delivered by Bishop Hiroshi Fukaya, Mission Headquarters in America. Following the sermon, new minister Rev. Yoichi Fukui shared some of his thoughts on his appointment.
